Weekly Most Trusted Games to Stream - October 16
Each week, StreamGist highlights the best games to stream on Twitch that balance discoverability and streamer fit. Based on save-to-skip ratios and GistScore from the past week, Fortnite, Marvel Strike Force, Voyagers of Nera, and Lost Ark all stand out. All four landed above our discoverability baseline, meaning they can actually pull an audience without competing head-on with the biggest whales in the directory. They also have fresh October updates that give streamers an easy excuse to go live.
Here's the list:
Fortnite - Previously listed, now with a small uptick that puts discoverability above average. Fortnite returned to our list as Fortnitemares content kept fueling engagement. The Doja-Cat-as-boss crossover, horror icon skins, and “Nitemare Island” zone gave creators new set-pieces to show off, while Halloween-timed Twitch Drops pulled viewers into live streams to earn cosmetics. Because these events are both watch-driven and time-bound, creators benefit from repeat check-ins and a steady churn of curious viewers looking for reactions to the seasonal update.
Marvel Strike Force - New this week with very strong discoverability. Marvel Strike Force surged onto the list as October delivered stacked, streamer-friendly beats: the release of Blue Marvel, free Daimon Hellstrom shards through a global milestone, and Halloween-aligned Brimstone team hype. Story developments around Annihilus and Asgardians gave theory-crafting streamers ammo, and store/QoL changes kept the wider player base engaged. MSF’s October cadence created exactly the kind of “new-patch-talk-through-it-live” format that performs well on Twitch.
Voyagers of Nera - Previously listed and remains highly discoverable. Voyagers of Nera continues to outperform on discoverability as Early Access momentum hasn’t cooled. Devs prioritized player-requested QoL changes over rushing new biomes, while Twitch Drops and a formal creator program sustain attention around the directory. Co-op survival inherently generates reactive moments — desperate fights, base disasters, rescue plays — making it ideal for squads, community nights, or long cozy progress sessions that viewers stick around for.
Lost Ark - New this week with some of the highest discoverability of all games. Lost Ark entered the list on the back of two October tailwinds: the NA West→East server merge that consolidated directory population, and the late-month Fog of Diaspero patch that kicked off Tier 4 and set up November’s Kazeros raid race. Seasonal Halloween skins and events kept streams busy during downtime, while prep content ahead of the world-first race drew MMO viewers back into the category. For streamers, it’s a month built around anticipation and shared progression — reliable fuel for retention and chat engagement.
