StreamGist respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our website and services. This policy applies to www.streamgist.com and related pages we host. StreamGist LLC ("StreamGist") is the data controller.

StreamGist collects and analyzes a combination of publicly available, user-submitted, and behavioral data to deliver personalized insights and improve our service. This includes:

• Public data from Twitch's public API.
• Game metadata from IGDB.com.
• User-submitted information, including email address, onboarding preferences, and streaming platform details.
• User interaction data, such as skipped games, streamed games, page visits, feature usage, interactions with clearly labeled paid demand tests, and other standard behavioral data collected during your use of the site.

We may also use anonymized and de-identified data to generate insights using third-party services like OpenAI. No personally identifiable information is shared externally. All such data is processed securely and in accordance with internal privacy standards. We host our marketing site on DigitalOcean and may process form submissions through StreamGist-operated infrastructure.

We use Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") to understand aggregate usage and improve the service. Analytics cookies are disabled by default and only load after you give consent via our cookie banner (powered by Osano). Before consent, Google's Consent Mode limits collection to non-identifying, aggregate signals. We do not use cookies for cross-site tracking or retargeting. StreamGist also uses privacy-focused, cookie-free analytics tools to understand how users interact with the platform.

6. With your consent, we may send you occasional marketing emails.

If you purchase a paid feature, payment will be processed securely through our third-party provider, Stripe. StreamGist does not store or directly process your payment details. All purchases are subject to the Refund Policy outlined in our Terms of Use.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share aggregated, de-identified insights that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, such as overall trends in which kinds of games streamers save or skip, with partners such as game studios; these insights never include your personal information or identify any individual streamer. We only disclose personal data when required to comply with legal obligations or protect the rights and safety of StreamGist or its users. We use carefully selected processors who act on our behalf under data processing terms. See "Vendors & Sub-processors" below.

We use a consent management platform (Osano) to manage cookies and similar technologies. Categories we use today: Necessary (e.g., Osano, Google reCAPTCHA) and Analytics (Google Analytics 4). Analytics cookies run only after your consent. You can change choices anytime via the "Cookie settings" link in our footer. We do not use marketing/advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. StreamGist does not use advertising or behavior-tracking cookies.

We rely on cookie-free, privacy-respecting tools to gather usage statistics in aggregate form. No personally identifiable data is collected through tracking technologies without your explicit consent.

Consent management (Osano):Our banner is provided by Osano. You can accept, reject, or set preferences and can revisit your choices at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in our footer.

Google reCAPTCHA:We use Google reCAPTCHA to prevent abuse of our forms. reCAPTCHA may analyze device/usage data to distinguish humans from bots. Use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms. Our legal basis is legitimate interests in securing the service.

We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) for transfers from the EU/UK to third countries.

We keep account data while your account is active and then for a limited period for recordkeeping/security. Analytics data follows Google's and Plausible's retention settings. We retain de-identified/aggregated data for product improvement.

We implement industry-standard security practices to protect your data. However, no system is completely immune to breaches. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Measures include encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access to production systems.

Dashboard controls: You can access/update certain profile data in your StreamGist dashboard and delete your account using our self-service deletion tool. We may retain de-identified/aggregated data after deletion.

EU/UK rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent at any time (without affecting prior processing). You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

US state privacy:depending on your state, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, and receive information about our data practices, and to opt-out of "sale" / "sharing" as defined by law. We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can contact us to exercise rights.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. If material changes are made, we will notify you via email or a notice on the StreamGist platform.
